The system Does Not Start???
Try creating enigma debug log. In telnet or terminal, login to the receiver and type init 4 then enigma2
init 4 followed by enigma2 will generate a log. Copy the log information from the terminal screen and post it. Maybe doing this will show exactly why the receiver...
The logs would point to a plugin or skin issue.
If no one else has suggestions, access the receiver files and delete the enigma2 folder in /etc. This can be done using terminal or putty. Then reboot the box. Do a Fresh install and do not restore anything.
Your are locked out of the feeds and most likely online update too because of the kernel mismatch. It will probably take a new image to fix it. You may try the file I posted earlier to access online updates, but I don't see the problem fixed here...
You can install the attached file into the receiver at: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/ then reboot
That should fix it for the moment. Or you can reload a different image version until the problem, is solved.
The problem is a typo. We got by for years without having kernel verification for the feeds. Never had a minute's trouble with kernel changes and feeds, even when Edision was changing kernel versions regularly. Shown below is the error. Build the image from sources and use custom feeds does not...
The Edision 4K receivers have not had a kernel update in years unless something recently happened. It might help if you could post a screenshot of the message.
FBC Tuners had a somewhat poor satellite blindscan for a bit, then the feature was completely removed. So nothing changed there I guess with the Pro model. My GigaBlue UE was also advertised to satellite blindscan, but that ended up being "wishful thinking". Maybe this particular model will be...
This feature is advertised: Blindscan: Automatic search for available satellite channels.
Does it work? And if it does work, how good is it? A video or something demonstrating the DVB-S/S2 blindscan performance of this receiver would be great!
Thanks.
The tuner or demodulator and the wifi are different in the Sf8008 Supreme as compared to the SF8008. If you use images from the first of 2024 or earlier, then your satellite tuners and wifi may not work.
The company that made the SF8008 Supreme for Octagon added the needed drivers for the...
Hi
Seems you will not get any help for this problem here? Try installing the last OpenVix image. If OpenVix has identical problem, then post on their forum about it. If it is fixed in OpenVix, then it will probably be also fixed in Open Black Hole as the image build sources are related.
I guess around a year ago, improvements were made to the SF8008 to allow some usb tuners to work correctly. Before that, all the way back to 2018 or whenever the SF8008 was released, there were problems with some models of usb tuners. The SF8008 Supreme is the SF8008 with small differences...
Hi.
I have twin DVB-S2 SF8008 Supreme. The DVB-T2 model is One DVB-T2 and One DVB-S2. See link below. I don't know if any other tuner combinations are available besides these two.

I have a Dreambox one which is similar to a Dreambox Two.
The Dreambox One has an Amlogic chipset and uses a 64 but operating system.
Images exist for the DreamOme and DreamTwo models that were put together by someone who worked for Dreambox. These images are Python 2 and were made years ago...
