Thank you I will try what you have suggested. I always put my box into deep standby because I may only use the receiver every other day. I do not like sending power to the motor constantly which I believe it does when in let's call it light standby.

Have you tried turning the dual off at the rear and then turn back on and when you see the boot message press the ok button on the remote rapidly keep doing this and it should then change the screen to put the box into recovery mode.

No issues this time i just did not use the overscan wizard with a fresh install.

I've not idea either whats happened to the skin either. The only thing i usually do is try and make the skin fit better using the overscan wizard. Do you use this option when setting up your image? i generally find that the images too big for the screen. I don't think i have overscan on my tv...
