It's alive :D Flashing with bootloader from USB stick did the job It continued with installation of OpenPLI 9.1 , where it got stuck.

Still no luck so I'll play with serial cable next week.

I've been using VU+multiboot for a long time. I have OpenBH 5.4.1, OpenPLI 8.3 and PurE2 7.4 in flash, no USB slots at this time. I finally updated OpenPLI v8.3 to v9.1 with backup (SSD is inside). Now everything is black, startup_recovery blank file doesn't help, and I can't even flash any...

I finally found the courage and updated OBH 5.3.001. to the latest version - 5.3.011. Everything is OK, all my images on USB are still there. It seems that only 5.3.009 was problematic as main VU+multiboot image on my box.

Flashing image teamblue7.3.-20231009 didn't end good. Everything stoped with team blue screen. STARTUP_RECOVERY empty file was my redemption :) Now is OBH 5.3.010. outside, hmm, temptation :unsure:

It gets even odder :LOL: I did everything again. Fresh flash od OBH 5.3.001. over everything in slot 1, just basic setup. Then Open PLI 8.3 as a family image in slot 2 with complete setup of 14 LNB's and DVB-T2 Slot 3 PurE2 7.3 cause of some FNC plugins These 3 are essential, other images are...

I did it but it didn't helped. Can someone please post link for OBH 5.3.7 or 5.3.8? (Vu+Ultimo4K) Tomorrow I'll try flash from begining with that older version.

Weeks ago I used OBH 5.3.8. and it was good Update on 5.3.9. make this problem. Last was flashing with 5.3.1. and was good too. Until update to 5.3.9.

What kind/type of UBS you use?

Few of them I formated with OBH and mounted them. Few other I formated to ext4 in Ubuntu and monted them. Result is always the same, everything works on USB's except VU+MB sloting.

I tested again few USB's but none of them works for slots. They all are OK for recording, FTP works on them fine. I dont know what to do enymore :confused:

Few days ago I made mistake and update OBH 5.3.001. to 5.3.009. And lost all USB slots with installed images, they are all gone. 3 Images in eMMC still works fine. Today was a new update in 5.3.009. but VU+Ultimo4K still cannot create new slots with red button. I hope one of future updates will...
