DVD player

Hi,

I have a DVD recorder USB connected to my Vu+ Solo2 and sometimes I play any old DVD from BlackHole image.

Some time ago, I tested OpenBH but the DVD player does not work, the USB reader was not detected.

Anybody knows if any new openBH has support for DVD player?

Blackhole had a lot of plugins preinstalled..
I think that on openbh that plugin is optional. Please check in the software download for the dvd player plugin and try to install it.

I installed the last OpenBH 5.4.1 and I could get work the PlayTV (terrestial tuner) installing dib0700 driver but I plugged also a DVD recorder (LG, USB id
152e:2507) and it is not detected by the VuPlus. This DVDwriter works perfect in my old BlackHole.

Anybody knows the driver that needs to be installed to detect it?

Additionally, using BLUE->BLUE I entered the OpenBh Speed Up menu, enabled the DVDPlayer ... but no DVD detected (and the DVD player plugin does not appear in the MENU -> Plug-in or MENU -> Apps.

Could I ask you to turn on the decoder
On your pc one command prompt,
Digit
Telent <ip address of your box>
When it ask for password digit root
Connect your dvd player
Put a dvd into the reader
Wait few second until the light stop blinking
Digit mount
Paste here the output of the command
Digit dmesg
Paste here the last 20 lines

Hi,

I am pretty sure that there is a bug somewhere... DVD player does not show in the list of apps and the automount of the movie DVD seems not work. I am using OpenBH version 5.4 (last one) with PlayTV USB tuner (driver 0700 installed to get it working).

Another detail o this 5.4... I can not see the EPG in the list of channels (yes in the lower bar). This was working in previous versions.

Try updating openbh to 5.4.1.005.

I tested it on my stb and it worked.

If dvdplayer doesn't appear on this release, try ejecting and reinserting it
