Bootloader update for the Gigablue Quad 4K Pro

An important boot loader update is available for the Gigablue Quad 4K Pro.

Current version: 2448 (from 04.12.2024)
Improvements and errors:
  • Fixes problems when waking up from the timer .
  • Support for starting the multiboot slots 5-8 .
Instructions for the update:

Connect to your box via Telnet .

Perform the following command:

wget -O /tmp/bolt_update.sh "http://source.mynonpublic.com/bolt_update.sh" && chmod 777 /tmp/bolt_update.sh && /tmp/bolt_update.sh
The update is started automatically and checks whether an update is required. If so, the boot loader is installed.

Important instructions:

During the update Do not switch off the box or separate from the electricity!

Make sure that the power supply remains stable during the update.
 
Quale e il modo di ripristinare il bootloader?
Non so che ho combinato e mi è rimasto su display opespa come Imagine boot invece di quello originale.

Thread 'Quad4K Pro Recovery Menu'

To enter the Recovery Menu on the Quad 4K Pro, you need to power off the box and then power it back on whilst pressing and holding the power button on the front of the box.

The LCD will show Setup in 3, 2, 1 ... keep holding until it shows you an ip address.

Enter the IP address displayed into your web browser, you will then see the following:

Here you can select which boot slot you want to update.

Slot 1 is highlighted.

If you click on device information you will see the following:

If you press back, you will see the previous page.

From there you can select...
