As many of you know, we setup this board to support the OpenBh image for the boxes that we support.
However we get lots of requests to support various boxes that are no longer in production, but we are unable to do this, as we pride ourselves in releasing images that we have personally tested, to find as many bugs and issues as possible, before we release them to the public, we feel this is the best way to provide images as we do not wish to introduce images for boxes we can not test as it risks adding instability into our images.
Therefore we have decided to use our old board blackhole-community.com to try and support some of these older boxes that we are unable to obtain samples of, we plan to release an OpenBh "community" image for these boxes.
So in essence, the community image will be a public beta, that you the users will test and report issues and in some cases provide the code to fix the issues yourselves.
It will be updated as and when we have the time to merge changes, so it will not automatically follow the same update timeframe as our "Release" image, however it will still be provided by the same team, so you will no longer need to rely on unofficial images for some of the older boxes that you own.
Any image released on this board, will be a release build, which means we won't be offering support for these builds on blackhole-community.com
