The new Gigablue Quad 4K Pro offers the opportunity to install an additional optional tuner. There are two tuner options available:
A dual DVB-S2X tuner with blind scan and multi-stream support
A dual DVB-C/T2 tuner
The new V2.X tuners are only suitable for the Quad 4K Pro.
The first generation tuners (V0.X and V1.X) are not compatible with the Quad 4K Pro.
How to recognize the tuners of the first and second generation:
Dual DVB-S2X tuner comparison:

The differences are as follows:
* Dimensions: The physical size of the V0.X/V1.X tuner differs from the V2.X tuners.
* LNBP IC: The LNBP IC (Low Noise Block Powering Integrated Circuit) used in the V0.X/V1.X tuners differs from that in the V2.X tuners.
DVB-C/T2 Tuner comparison:


The differences are as follows:
* Dimensions: The size differs between the tuners.
* Demodulator IC: The demodulator ICs are different.
* Inputs: The old C/T2 tuner has only 1 input (with 0/5 volt control), while the new C/T2 tuner has 2 inputs (with 2 x 0/5 volt control).
