No softcam on OpenBh Blue Panel

When you press the Blue button, on your remote control, then press the left/right buttons, is there only the Common Interface option?
Did you download, the softcam, from the plugins menu?
If installing a .ipk file, by loading it into the tmp folder, using Filezilla, did you press the green, f/b the yellow button to manually install the .ipk file?

I have done as you describe.
Copied the ipk file to the correct directory.
Installed and it shows installation in progress.
OpenBh restarts.
But it doesn't show up since in but so I can select it.

I tested with Black Hole 3.1 and cccam 2.3.8 and it worked instantly. It must be Black Hole.
Wondering what is causing the problem.
Would prefer OpenBra.

In openbh lo script di avvio delle softcam è in usr/camscript, probabilmente la softcam che hai installato tramite ipk mette lo script in etc/init.d per questo obh non lo vede

Which files should I move?
From catalog to catalog.
Only find one called softcam.

I think the VUCC uses Filezilla, which you can get free, as a stand alone program.
You might have to use the Force showing hidden files option, under the server tab.

Personally I use Oscam, but what do you mean by doesn't work?
How expert are you at using softcams, in Enigma 2 based receivers?
Do you know you enter the full line, including the C:?

I do the same when I copy softcam to OpenBh.
Highlight the file in PC.
Drags the file to the OpenBh directory.
Then green button and then yellow button.
The installation is performed.
OpenBh restarts.
Blue button to select softcam.
It is there that the option for selecting the softcan is not available to choose.
Why does installing softcam 2.3.8 work fine in Black hole 3.1 but not for OpenBh 5.3?

Why do I need to view hidden files?

You don't, unless you need to edit the hidden files, and folders.

I still don't know what you're trying to do, so I assume it's not suitable, for the forum, and/or against the rules.
If using a line, for viewing satellite, then I still recommend Oscam, over CCcam.

Have now tested different versions of OpenBh.
Version 4.4 works with cccam 2.3.8
Version 5.0 and higher will not work.
After ccam is installed I get the error message.
"The service could not be found!
Check receiver setting!"
What is the change for version 5.0 and above.
Some files apparently had to be copied to the wrong directories.

Each version is an improvement, for newer receivers.
I still have my old VU+ Duo 2, and OpenBh 5.3, which is fine, for my needs, especially Kodi.
I also use Oscam, updated from CCcam, as it opens more channels.

I have vu+ duo2.
It messed up a bit so I bought vu+ duo 4K se.
I then did a reinstall of Black Hole on the vu+ duo2 and it now works fine.
I also want vu+ 4k to work when I buy a new receiver.

Before reinstallation, the box controlled so that the TV selected the correct HDMI input automatically.
Can't remember where the setting was for this.

Has anyone come up with a solution why installed softcams do not appear in the softcam selection list.
Applies to version 5.0 and later.
