OBH does not show the Starting GUI phase any longer

In the past versions of OBH we were able to know when the booting phase ended and the "Starting GUI" began.
Now, even if I tried to load different screens as bootlogo, waitlogo and backdrop, it seems OBH uses only one and so it's impossible to understand the two phases.
This would be useful, for instance, when you want to sent files like timers.xml that cannot be overwritten while the image is running and you need to do immediately after the GUI begins to be loaded.

Use telnet and init 4 stop enigma when copy done init 3 to start enigma
 
There are several ways to fool the image into taking a file or overwriting a file, but this is the correct way.

Mine was just an example: I manage the same to do what I mentioned in the example in much easier way than the method you suggested.
But you should't stick to the example. I simply find useful to know what phases the booting is going through for a general reason, not just for the simple fact I mentioned.
 
I don't think it has done this since obh 0.1 or maybe 0.4, certainly hasn't done it in 0.6, 1.0, 4.1 or 4.2
 
Yes, you are right: it was a lot of time ago. But, if I'm not wrong, it's still so in BH. Anyway, as I suppose it's not a technically difficult thing, I wondered why OBH does not show these two steps. After all, why not? ;)
Another reason I can think of is that it also helps understanding if the booting process is going on normally or not.
When it got stuck on the "Booting" it meant something; if on "Starting GUI" it meant something else.
And I'm also thinking of not experienced users for whom the word GUI is meaningless. Reading this word in the booting process would make the whole thing more clear, I think.
 
On my Solo2 I had the same issue.
I went to /usr/share where I found a link to file backdrop.mvi.
Deleted it and replaced the said link file with my own backdrop.mvi file.
Restart GUI.
Issue solved.
Hope it will work for you too.
