picons issue with obh 5.6

Hello,

I have an issue with picons not appearing when using symbolic links on OpenBlackHole 5.6.

Picons path: /media/hdd/picon

On OpenBlackHole 5.5, symlinked picons worked correctly.
After updating to 5.6, Enigma2 no longer reads picons that are symbolic links.

Example:

Picons stored in:
/media/hdd/picon/vavoo/

Command used:
ln -sf /media/hdd/picon/vavoo/* /media/hdd/picon/

Result:
Picons do not appear in channel list.

If I copy or move the files (real files, not symlinks), picons display normally.

The same symlink setup works fine on OpenATV 7.6, so it seems specific to OBH 5.6

Most likely something is wrong with the filenames.

All the picon packs from the feeds use symlinks and they work fine.

Hi, just out of personal curiosity... why not put the files directly into /media/hdd/picon/? Is there a particular reason or is it just your own preference?

my own preference bcz its easy for me to edit the picons of my specifique bouquet

There are lots of good reasons to use symlinks.

HI Huevos, I'm quite newbie to Linux; in this specific case, (point to picon's folder) is there an advantage of pointing to a slink instead of the folder directly?
