Problem mounting HDD drive

Hi all,

I installed OBH 5.1 in my two Vuplus decoders (Duo2 and Zero), the Zero acting as a client of the Duo2. I am trying to configure the HDD of the Duo2 as I always had so that the Zero can access it to stream films storedthere or to use it for the backups (in the Zero I have no drive attached, only the flash memory).

I have been trying to mount and configure as I had before, but it does not work. I have set passwords in both decoders, so I think that is not the issue.

Anyone knows if the management of mounts, etc. has changed in this new version or were can be the problem?

Thanks!

I have obh 5.1 in a Duo 4K and a Uno 4KSE if, both with internal HDD and mount had no problem. Access to the disk between one and the other is ok. I didn't give Passwd, I don't need to.

No, zeberil: he's obviously talking about mounting over the network the Duo2 HDD to be used by Zero (as it clearly says he's got no HDD in the Zero).

The mounting is not changed. I use CIFS as mount type. I suggest you not to edit the default names the mount provides you.

I had written that I had no problem in network connection between the 2 Vu when it comes to access to the HDD....

I do not use CIFS but NFS (you have to install, I mentioned). Here goes (sorry for the language):

As I said, I prefer CIFS because everything goes smoothly with it, either for NAS or for other boxes. But, de gustibus non est disputandum...
