If you haven't used a FTP, File transfer Protocol, program before, download FileZilla, or use the version in the VU+ Control Centre.
To use this you need to know your receivers IP Address, you can find this in your receivers menu, Setup, System, Network, then select either the Wireless connection, WLAN, if you've set your receiver up using a wireless connection, or LAN, if you're using an ethernet cable. Then click on Adapter Settings and note down your receivers IP Address.
Now go back to your PC, start up FileZilla, your receivers IP Address goes in Host, the Username is root, and leave the password blank, unless you've set one up, then click quick connect.
Noiw as angelofsky1980 states you should see the tmp folder in the bottom right hand pane.
