usb and omb mountpoints

Im running the latest obh image and I have a usb stick on which I run multiboot and works ok.When I ftp into the box I also have media omb and on it is installed multiboot ,multiboot upload epg etc ... all the same files that are in media usb are also in omb.I know some images have omb instead of usb in the mountpoints.
Both the usb and omb have my multiboot images in them .
Is this right, should there be both
