The first A option will not work
You cannot install on VU + receivers in flash multiboot images.
You can only install one image, flash image.
I usually use USB for multiboot.
I used to use Black Hole in Flash (I haven't tested the latest images multiboot )
but I believe Open Black Hole does the same thing.

The Force legacy signal stats thing is because some tuners, for example Sundtek, have problems interpreting the DVB API 5, and therefore it is necessary to activate this option so that it uses the DVB API 3 and so it does not cause problems.
Today normally all receivers bring tuners with the support of DVB API 5.

So if you have no problem, it is NO

@soloman I suggest that you install/Flash a fresh copy of OBH 5.1 into your flash and use as your base image.
Keep it as clean and basic as you can.

Install OpenMultiboot on an USB3 memory stick, does not be very big but at least 8GB. Attache to the USB Port who have blue colour. That is your USB3 port
Never install OpenMultiboot on an regular HDD since it will be spinning all the time and create very much heat and consume unnessery power.

Then install your Images with OpenMultiboot and enjoy.

I think I've read somewhere around here or in Vuplus-Community that USB Pen should be 2 and not 3... mine are 2.

It doesn't matter if you use usb2 or 3, however as the usb ports are slow to init during bootup, using usb3 has no speed advantage when using omb.

I have some problems with OMB on the SSD, so I'm thinking of putting the OMB images on a separate USB stick.
Is it a good idea to have OMB images on a USB stick and everything else on an SSD?
Which USB stick brand/type do you recommend for permanent work, so that it does not heat up too much?
(VU+Ultimo4K)
