Reprinted:Zgemma H7 image with only two, bigger partitions in flash (cca. 1.5GB)
To use it, it is necessary (only once) to flash this image via USB and the button on the front panel.
After this you can freely flash images on-line (from SW manager or pure2 manager) in STARTUP_1 or STARTUP_2."
So, by default Zgemma H7 has 4 partitions.
This unique image repartitions the eMMC/flash.
It must delete everything on it in order to make a new partitioning system with only 2 larger partitions.
To return to 4 partitions in Zgemma H7 Flash, one uses a "normal" image, which repartitions the H7 Flash to its default 4 partitions, deleting the previous partitioning system and everything on the flash/eMMC.
And both 2 and 4 partitions images partition the H7 flash CORRECTLY, unlike many other images...
So, a unique, top quality image (what else do you expect from PurE2 Team :laugh1 for the discerning, serious hobbyist with serious demands...:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:
Here is my proposal for README file for RECOVERY procedure for Zgemmas:
**** ATTENTION ****
This RECOVERY procedure (using *_recovery_emmc.zip files) should normally be done very, very rarely and only when absolutely needed:
1) when you have issues accessing the MULTIBOOT MENU or
2) if there is an essential update to these files.
This is needed to avoid conflicts between images, as the partition layout (bootargs) is of huge importance.
A small change can destroy all your installed images.
So better not to install it, unless it's really needed.
Two partitions make Zgemma H7 more space, and then use online flashing. There are two options, one is to download in the forum, the other is to download and install online. Finally, there is no special situation after flashing the two partitions. Do not use the underlying package. The firmware is strongly flashed, and it will directly return to the original four partitions after the strong flash.
