HowTo Connect your Vu+ with RJ12 port via RS232 Serial Connector

The guide says: "Then once connected to your terminal program (such as putty)..."
But what's the command to connect? Or is it automatically recognised?

The RS232 connection is automatic, so no need for user name or password. A reboot of the receiver may be needed to see the data flow, unless you patiently wait for something to be shown.

Connecting to a fta receiver using RS232 has become nothing short of a complicated mess as shown in the post #1 attachment. There are several cables available that are RJ12 to RS232, but they are not all wired the same. Not many computers have a RS232 terminal, so you have to use a USB to RS232 adapter which has its own set of problems or difficulties.

Well...start at the beginning I guess. What does the box display? Is it connected to your local network? Can it be seen on the local network? Have you interrogated your local while the box is physically connected to it to see if it is being issued an ip address? These things should be done first before even thinking about RS232. And exactly what did you mess up and how??? This needs to be explained in detail.

i insert the Usb and start flashing after 10 seconds to launch the count of restart and white screen on the resiver

i've been disappointed, I've barely bought it and now this I don't understand exactly in these things I've been reading on the site, which can be installed by a multiboot and I've erased something and I can't run a laundry bottle, I've ordered this cable 232 waiting to arrive and I could make a wave that you want me to

You need to send it back. You have supplied no information about it. And I personally have no idea how to recover that model of Vu+. So send it back to where you bought it. Or try another Internet forum. I doubt you get help with it here.
