To flash Octagon SFX6008 or SFX6018 you need a USB stick with a minimum 2GB formatted in FAT32.
Download the latest OpenBh image 5.1x Octagon SFX6008 (both boxes use the same image).
If you want to update one of the multiboot slots:
If you have bricked the box or you just need to fully wipe the flash:
Don't worry if you don't have a usb stick with you. If your SFX6008 / 6018 is connected to your network via ethernet, you can use Network Image Update function and choose our image and which slot to flash it too.

If you want to update one of the multiboot slots:
- Copy openbh* multi.zip in the root folder of your usb stick formatted
- Plug the USB stick into the USB port on the rear.
- Power on the box and press and hold the standby button on the remote at the same time until "Updt" is displayed.
- Select "Usb Multiboot image upgrade" from TV screen menu.
- Select the flash image. If it doesn't appear double check you named it correctly (something like openbh-5.1.011.release-sfx6008-sfx6018_********_multi.zip)
- Choose the flash slot to update
- The Box will tell you when the update is completed.
If you have bricked the box or you just need to fully wipe the flash:
- Unpack openbh*recovery.zip into the root folder of your usb stick and copy the openbh* multi.zip to the root of the usb.
- Turn off the box.
- Plug the USB stick into the USB port at the rear.
- Power on the box and press and hold the standby button and power on the box until "Updt" is displayed.
- Select "Recovery From USB" from TV screen menu.
- Now follow the steps above and flash the image to slot 1 (if you skip this step some functions of the box may not work correctly).
Don't worry if you don't have a usb stick with you. If your SFX6008 / 6018 is connected to your network via ethernet, you can use Network Image Update function and choose our image and which slot to flash it too.
