To flash Octagon sf8008 you need a USB stick with a minimum 2GB formatted in FAT32.
Download the latest OpenBh image x Octagon Sf8008.

If you have a box without multiboot bootloader or you need to fully wipe the flash:
  • Unpack openbh*recovery_emmc.zip and openbh* mmc.zip into the root folder of your usb stick preserving the directory structure of openbh*_mmc.zip file
  • Turn off the box.
  • Plug the USB stick into the USB 3.0 port on the right side.
  • Press and hold the standby button and power on the box until "Updt" is displayed.
  • Select "Recovery From USB" from TV screen menu.
  • Box restarts when update is completed.
If you want to update one of the multiboot slots:
  • Copy openbh* mmc.zip in the root folder of you usb stick formatted
  • Plug the USB stick into the USB 3.0 port on the right side.
  • Press and hold the standby button and power on the box until "Updt" is displayed.
  • Select "Usb Multiboot image upgrade" from TV screen menu.
  • Select the flash image. If it doesn't appear double check you named it correctly (something like openbh-5.0.005.release-sf8008-067eb2d7_mmc.zip)
  • Choose the flash slot to update
  • Box restarts when update is completed.
Don't worry if you don't have an usb stick with you. If your sf8008 is wired to your network, you could use Network Image Update functionality and choose our image and slot where to flash.
