Hey, I asked a similar question in the subforum, but I think OpenBh General Discussions is a better place for it.
I've read all possible threads related to HDMI-CEC, and I'm aware that there were and are problems with LG (although they were 2020 topics). Maybe let's from the beginning, I have an LG Nanocell 793NE that runs on webos, it has HDMI-CEC (not sure if on all ports or just the first one). I also have a set-top box on OpenBH, where I also enabled HDMI-CEC, the set-top box is only used for me to watch TV, so I'd like to make it so that when I turn on the LG the set-top box turns on and so that I can control channels, volume. I tested and it doesn't respond to starting tv or turning it off. Do all hdmi ports support hdmi-cec? Do I need to have some certified cable under it? Is it just that LG has some other foramt of commands sent over HDMI? Has anyone had any success connecting this?
