Mounts not possible in the Recovery image

It's been years I have been creating my backups not in the internal disk but in my NAS, so to have the chance to use them in case of inaccessible box.
But it is impossible to access my NAS from the slot 0, the recovery: why?
The advice for the New Multiboot is to install the image and set only box psw and network. Perfect: so, why it's not avalilable the mount command?
