MovieCut set up causes crash only by 6.0

It has now happened several times that, doing a usual setting of cuts of a recording, 6.0 just crashes and the GUI restarts.
I know that usually we are told to report issues to plugin authors but I feel that MovieCut is a sort of must and I've aways been using it since 2014 in BH 2.1.4...
My doubt is whether this issue happens only cutting 4K recordings or also other ones: I'm inclined to think it has happened also with other channels, though.
Surely, it doesn't happen always but when it happens once there's nothing to do. Also using "Reconstruc AP/SC" doesn't help.
The workaround is, obviously, to reboot in 5.6 and the same recording causes no troubles.
 
I built the image from OBH sources, but have no way to test the Vu+ Ultimo4K. You may install the enigma2 package in the link, but be prepared to reload the image if something happens. Since the problem seems to be in enigma2, loading the updated OBH vuultimo4k enigma2 might fix it. I have the whole image, but this is all that should be needed to fix it.

To install, use telnet or terminal. Download the enigma2 .ipk package and put it in /tmp of receiver files. Terminal commands:
init 4
opkg update
opkg install /tmp/*k
reboot
