OpenBh 5.1 will be the end of Vu+ Solo, Duo and Uno support.

What you need is not an update but an upgrade. Is never possible to upgrade online: you need to save your settings by personal backup and then reflash and reimport those settings, or start from scratch.
 
Hi, currently using a very trusted and well worked Duo2, how long will it be before development will stop on this model. And what would be the best replacement for future images... box has done well. 12 years old now.. would be looking at 4k model.
 
As you said, a 4K model, regardless of the fact you've got a 4K TV or not. I don't have a 4K TV but this is not important (and, anyway, you can also watch 4K channels on a FullHD TV, although, clearly, not in real 4K).
 
What do you really ask... what box to buy?

It seems that VU+ will not produce or innovate again.

You have a Duo2... an Octagon twin can be a solution. But you will have to explore for your reality.
 
When I press the blue button twice to enter the extension menu, the receiver crashes and resets. Is there a way to solve this problem? (vu+ Uno on multi boot image)
