It should be possible to backup the slots and restore them to slot0, but i never used that functtionality

Here is some feedback regarding the new kexec multiboot feature on OpenBH 6.0.4.
With OpenBH 6.0.4 installed in the flash memory, I am still encountering an issue where the recovery image displays nothing (bootlogo).
After flashing the new kexec multiboot, the system works properly, and I can successfully boot into the images stored in the various flash slots (pressed MENU on the remote, except for slot 0 which only displays the bootlogo) .
However, Enigma2 crashes systematically whenever I attempt to add EXTRA USB-slots.
I have attached my crash log to this post. Hopefully, it will help you analyze and fix this issue in future updates.

Hi, thanks for the new first-stage bootmenu, it works great.

One small request: the menu font is an 8x8 bitmap scaled up without smoothing, so the menu looks quite retro, a bit like a 90s game, especially on 720p/1080p TVs. Is there any chance to improve the look? For example:
- a smoother (antialiased) font
- a slightly more modern style, e.g. rounded rows and clearer key hints in the footer

nice idea but due to some memory issue on some box (especially on vuduo4k) I preferred to keep the memory footprint smaller.

If you like you can try my plugin. Is non as fast to load at start like the Liquid's one (which is really, really fast, as it starts before every other booting stage) but it's customizable from within the image.
Please, test it and, in case you'll do, report me which box following the simple advice in this thread:

I’ve been away from this forum for a very long time, because of things that were not pleasant and that made me decide to stop posting. I’d rather leave them behind.

That never meant I stopped loving OBH.

Today I’m back, to present a plugin I made: it adds a MENU at start-up, to choose among the slots you have in MultiBoot. It changes neither the image nor any kernel — it uses the initrd= parameter that the kexec first stage already reads from /STARTUP, plus the STARTUP_ONCE mechanism, and the menu itself runs from the Recovery, before any image starts.

I was waiting to do more testing...
