VuCC and Dreamboxedit do not work for Vu+ duo 4K SE

Softcams aren't produced for one make of receiver, just for Enigma 2 based receivers.
Anything with a.ipk file, that's not too old, should work.

Couldn't get it to work with OpenBh 5.3
Tried now with Black Hole 3.1 which I have on Vu+ duo2
My problem is when I have to connect to wifi.
I don't get an IP number.
How should I connect to the LAN and get an IP number?
With OpenBh 5.3 there were no problems.
What am I doing wrong?

What can't you get to work?
It's been a long time, since I used Black Hole, but I'm guessing that it's a driver problem, as the VU+ Duo 4K SE is a lot newer than the older VU+ Duo 2, which I still use, and VU+ stopped supporting the Black Hole image.

Personally I would persevere with a newer image, either OpenBh 5.3, or 5.4, or a different image.

Now I have reinstalled to OpenBh 5.3.
Everything is in place except the Oscam and description files.
Should I use the Oscam 11715 or the latest Oscam 11854?
The only Oscam that has been said to work for the Vu+ duo 4K is the OScam 11520.
Maybe the others also work but it is not written that they are suitable for Vu duo 4K.
When I installed it automatically created the description files.
Should I replace those files with the ones I got from you?

I never sent any files, just the Softcam Concierge, which allows you to make your own files.
When you install Oscam, it makes it's own files, which you then replace, with your own, and overwrite the files that are of no use.

That's right. I got it mixed up with something else.

If you have a provider, they might have files, already made, for your receiver, but you have to login, to access them.
They will also provide guides, and a PuTTY command, to download a channel list, especially for IPTV.
