What is Open Black Hole ?

Open Black Hole is the porting of Black Hole images under Pli git.

The Open Black Hole goal is to offer a Black Hole image enriched with Pli features, IPTV full support and compatibility with Pli plugins.

Open Black Hole is fully Open Source.
 
Since the final release, will OBH become the "main" Black Hole image of the Community?
 
This is not a race.
The images will be similar outside but different inside because Vu+ git and Pli git are different.
Not all features of one side can be ported on other side.
For this reason we will have two lines. So members can have the choice.

Another question:
will OBH be still restricted to Vu+ genuine boxes only?

We do not make images for other boxes and we do not support other boxes and for sure not clone
but we do not use any BH restrictions in our images
Not before and not now.
 
I like this YES, OpenPli is the best image for Iptv true tested by me, but seems to have some problems, and not good as VTI and Black Hole, this will be probably the best Image available, but i have to test and see, ok waiting now???????
 
Hi Guys

1) Where can I find the IPTV Plugin?. Is it pre-installed in Green Panel (OBH 0.1)
2) Any possibility of using Meoboot in OBH 0.1
3) On reboot/restart gui, the previous viewing channel does not switch on but it goes to the first channel in the Channel selection list.

How to clone the repository?

I do have read the article "What is the Open Black Hole ?". However, can anyone confirm these in a none-technic wording?

1. The Open Black Hole is a new image, using very similar interface of Black Hole but inside working in a different way. In other word, we should deal with this image as an independent image rather than an upgrade version of BH.

2. However, as a new image, Open Black Hole is arming to accept plugins which are writen for Black Hole and other images without using mult-boot.

3. The mult-boot of Open Black Hole is used for swapping between different images in order to acheive some function which Open Block Hole does not supported currently except particular image.
 
Can someone point me in the direction of where the actual image is that i can download im new here and trying to find my way around any help would be greatly appriciated
