XtraEvent plugin by @digiteng

I really don't know what kind of problems you have.
I installed the whole clean image on my Ultimo 4k last night
and extraEvent no error.

So you install a clean image
no backups and plugins
first make an upgrade image
and install ExtraEvent.
 
fresh install updatet image and then install xtraevent same error.. uno4kse

I believe (but not 100% sure )
I know what the problem is
You use language that has no support.
Norwegian or ??? Switch to English and test.

If you like

You can translate plugin into nb (Norsk Bokmal) language if you want, so you won't have an error
or use this file so you will have English in the plugin and you can use nb (Norsk Bokmal) in your language image configuration
without error.

at the bottom of the text file is the nb language section in English (you can translate it if you want)
file goes to
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/xtraEvent/
replace languages with file from my zip

So for those who have problems similar to this
the plugin does not support all languages supported by the image.
Use English that works well.
Or add your own language if you know how to edit language file.

Hey,
the plugin with Graydots X2P works fine, but I have a problem with the plugin remotechannellistconverter since installing XtraEvent. Some channels remain black when switching and the message "No data on the transponder" appears. XtraEvent is uninstalled again and all channels in the server box are streamed again. Is there a solution?

I don't have a solution for that, it's not my plugin ,maybe the box isn’t strong enough for all activities.
I don't know which one you have.
Ask the author @digiteng if he knows.

Thx, it is a vu+ uno 4k se, it should be strong enough

Added search with watch ... works on standby, daily search,
Added search parameters "tv, movie, multi" for tmdb,
Added language support for "description" ...

Loaded a new image on my solo 4k did not install any settings or apps, then downloaded xtraevent and I get this message

Extensionns /xtraevent(unsupported operand type(s) for + none type and str.
If I load a skin first system crashes
 
Managed to install plugin using wget -q "--no-check-certificate" https://github.com/digiteng/xtra/raw/main/xtraEvent.sh -O - | /bin/sh loads ver 5.2
Then downloading ver 3 from B/H server.Both versions load but the download button doesent work on either version, just goes into an eternal loop and have to reboot box Cant see in usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugns/extensions/extraevent /plugin .py where to insert /media/hdd Can you give line no to edit

Also work for Duo4K but it is not easy to configure this plugin also because it installs also an ugly skin named "xtra" and, maybe, this is the skin shall be used to use properly the plugin.
Do you know an updated "how to"/ "guide" to configure correctly it?
