Hardly. A gift is something given to someone without payment If you have to pay monies even in a roundabout way, then it is not by definition a gift. A perk of donating would probably work.
Anyway some sort of announcement should be made so folks can know and participate. No one told me the...
We are selling skins now? That's interesting.
Maybe make an announcement about this and detailing what is required so users might be aware of it.
Thanks.
Where has a channel been shown playing or even a steady signal lock with the SF8008 Supreme on a 3xx sr? One user reported to have sporadic lock on SR 355 signal, but that is not usable. Edision 4K receivers have the same Avalink AVL6261C chip. Sources are available for Anyone to build the...
The two main differences in the Octagon SF8008 and the SF8008 Supreme are tuner demodulator (AVL6261C) and wifi. There is Bluetooth capability in the Supreme, but it has been useless for me. These three items are the only real differences I can find.
The current SF8008 Supreme image in OBH...
Really there is no alternative today. What else do we have offered as "New" for 2024 Today? 2024 Is almost at the halfway point and the Supreme is all we have.
I find the SF8008 Supreme to be at least a decent FTA type receiver. You have internal storage capability (SSD), two satellite tuners...
Seems telnet still works, yes? Try making a debug log.
In Telnet:
(1) init 4
(2) ENIGMA_DEBUG_LVL=5 enigma2 > /tmp/enigma.log 2>&1
Get the enigma.log from the /tmp folder of receiver files, zip it and attach it to a post in this thread.
The Octagon SF8008 Supreme was introduced at the beginning of 2024 and is now starting to be available on markets all over the world. The SF8008 Supreme is basically an old FTA receiver in a new Gift Box with a couple of new or updated features. The SF8008 Supreme has provisions for an internal...
@Ev0 ,
I appreciate your efforts and those of OBH! I know that usb tuner issue was reported by OBH some time ago. Thanks.
But if a company is going to supply contact information, they should at least be decent and reply when someone emails them. VuPlus was the same way. Not much got fixed by...
I doubt you get this fixed. The Qviart Dual does not support usb tuners while most other enigma2 receivers do. I tried to contact Qviart directly about this and they did not bother to reply, much less fix it. There is only so much an image group can do, and after a certain point, the...
Windows and Linux are two different animals.
FTA receivers are based on Linux and not Windows. It may be possible to find something that runs in Windows to unpack UBIFS, but I don't know of anything.
Linux tools or applications exist to unpack UBIFS, so you will probably need to be on a Linux...
Degrees west are unknown...
53E - 13E = 40. This is not a great distance for a Ku motor. A 90 cm dish is not terribly large either.
I doubt enigma2 or these settings are the problem:
Horizontal turning speed: 2.3
Turning step size: 0.360
Max memory positions: 099
Force legacy signal stats: No...
The far east or west degrees are what exactly? How many degrees from 0 or due south are you talking about in each direction?
What is the size of the dish?
Vertical polarity will move slower than horizontal polarity.
A simple kernel patch allows vtunerc to be added to the dual. But the kernel crashes when any of my usb tuners are added, including DVB-T. I tried to contact the manufacturer directly about this problem days ago and got no reply at all. So much for Qviart support!
I purchaed a Qviart Undro...
What is the make and model number of your signal finder? OR what finder are you using that shows 15.8 db?
What is the make and model number of your receiver?
What is in the old PLi images that you need? Even if you had a copy of the older PLi versions, there would be no feeds for it.
Have you tried OpenBH 5.3 image?
In Android(9), all I need to run is One App. The stock Qviart Dual 4K will run the one app that I need, but there are bugs in the Android fta satellite. Looking around, there are some Android hacks for the Dual 4K that fix or at least address some of the problems in Android satellite, but...
