That's a very useful hint for next time, thanks. I suppose by 'almost' you mean that some files can be excluded. Just took a look there and there's a huge epg.dat for example. If you can specify which others can be left out, this will be a precious info for me.
Well, in my case, as there is (for instance) the file settings where you can find references to some plugins' configurations, you might have troubles if you copy it in a new image where some of these plugins are not also installed. So, you should install the same plugins you had in the old image before copying.
Be aware that this procedure IS NOT SURE it won't cause any error messages or issues, IS NOT OFFICIAL, is just what I sometimes do if I'm too lazy to rebuild and re-set every personal parameters. As I said, it works for me conditioned to what I said. You should copy in your PC the whole content of this folder before experimenting so that you can replace it if it doesn't work.
But, if it works, you'll find a lot of aspects already set, starting from the tuners configuration.
